La Gemma is a jewel-box hotel in the heart of Florence, and a genuine welcome for your dog. Every room is dog friendly, there is no weight limit so larger breeds are welcome too, and dogs join you in the lounge and public areas.
Your dog is properly looked after, with a bed, bowls, dog food and free treats provided, and the team will guide you to the best walking routes or arrange a dog walker. The parks of Florence are a short stroll from the door.
The fee is a modest 35 euros a night, and the welcome is warm and genuine. It is one dog per room, and dogs are not left alone in the room, so plan your day around your companion.
